Our local area

Following on from our last blog post, we thought we'd share with you some more information about our local area and attractions. Just outside our village we have plenty of great pubs serving food, with The Mount Pleasant Inn being about 10 minutes away. Our local farm shop at West Middlewick Farm sells their own meat, local vegetables and raw and pasturised milk from their herd of dairy cows. Around 20 minutes away you'll find local attractions such as Quince Honey Farm, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes NT, Tiverton Museum, Tiverton Castle and an indoor climbing wall at Rock and Rapid Adventures. We're on the edge of Exmoor National Park and Dartmoor National Park and the incredible North Devon beaches of Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde are under an hour away. The towns of Ilfracombe, Appledore, Instow, and Lynton and Lynmouth all offer a great day out.
